Hi all the following is email's between me & EA on my missing BF2 points .................

I'm receiving medals on line but my points have not advanced in six months??? So what I'm trying to say is where my hard earned Points are?????
Could any body please offer me some relief?

(EA) Dear Sir / Madam,
Reasons for your points not logging into the master network may be due to a Firewall / Router issue.
Please make sure that you have closed down all Firewall software or Configure it correctly to allow Battlefield 2 to connect.

If my PC did not connect to EA I wouldn't be playing on line daily. BF 2142 accumulates points just fine & I know BF2 has had its fair share of the "missing points scenario" Any way I tried what you suggested ( turn off fire wall ) no points update?? medals are received but points stay the same??? could you please investigate this more.

(EA) Hi Joe, Are you able to try creating a second account for Battlefield 2? We would like to test if it is just the one account or if it is all accounts from your computer that are not recording stats.

I did as you suggested, created a new account... I played a short game, checked the stats the next day & points had been received in my BF HQ. I am hopeful this will aid you in solving this set back.

So far haven't heard any more response. can any body assist ?? Cheers Joe

EA is infamous for their egregious customer support. The only thing to do now is to curse them under your breath whenever you get teamkilled.

On a more serious note, it might be a good idea to send them another e-mail. Describe your problem in excruciating detail and mention that your other email was ignored. That's the best advice anybody here give tell you. Good Luck!

Oh, and make sure that you are playing on a ranked server.

What? If you were reffering to the fact that you already have posted a thread on this same topic, I recomment that you don't do that again. Not only is it a waste of space, but the mods don't take too kindly to it. If nobody has posted on your thread in a long time, rather than starting a new one, make a post of your own in the thread and it will be pushed up to the front of the line(date wise anyway).

he's talking about posting the same topic multiple times.
