I had a problem with my computer shutting itself down and the light staying on

well i pulled it on its side out of the enclosed place its in opened the door let it cool down and started it a few hours later with the door open

about 10 minutes into it it shut down again, and now im turning it back on and within 5 seconds it shuts down again, with the light turning off this time

which leads me to its not overheating, and the power supply gets pretty hot id say. Ive had the power supply probably 3 years running everyday, so would you agree the problem is that the power supply is shot??? I dont know what else to think. Im going to bestbuy soon to get a new power supply

I dont see how it would overheat within 10-15 minutes laying out on the floor without the panel on.
and it only has one case fan because its a ATX minitower
and the heatsink i cant really see but i attempted to clean it out.
its pretty wedged in there.
