Force may sometimes be necesary but hardly before other solutions have been thoroughly tested to solve a situation.

I know, but people have been talking about some sort of proper intervention in Sudan for ages now. Fact is that the countries that would do anything are pretty tied up at the moment, and the other countries aren't going to intervene if there's nothing in it for them, which there isn't

I think you miss alot of the points completely.. Seeing how I was called a puppet before, change for alot of places takes time.. Battles have to be fought, but they have to be fought by the people of the country, not for the people of the country.. We as Americans do the fighting for countries, put what government we think is going to support us, and then in 20 years down the line have to go to war again to get the regime we put in place out..

Perfect example is Iran, we uprouted one of there governments, put ours in place.. Then the Irainian people had a revoltion/election and bam the current ANTI US government is in place.. If we didn't fuck with there government before they wouldn't be ANTI US..

I say lets not fight just to fight.. Let choose our battles and assist those who truely want real leadership.. Like how the French helped us during the Revolutionary War.. Holy shit back along time ago we where in the same boat as IRAQ?? WOW so that's why they teach history in School, I thought it was so we can pat our backs and give chest pounds..

Wars are needed when needed.. Assistance and support are what we should be doing for the betterment of our country and others..

You haven't got a clue as to where or what i have experienced up close so don't give me that sacrificial mumbo jumbo, as a soldier or ex-soldier you should know that force never solves anything but to create new problems ... i'm not saying Darfur doesn't instigate a use of force but your OP states that force is general is the only way to go and that is wrong.
