on saturday (after 3 fustrating downloads) i finally installed Beta 2.0e
it had to be one of the best mods i had ever played
the level of realism and the amout to teamwork needed to survive is incredible
i say fuck PR

To be honest, the mod bored me to tears, and I loved PR. Graphics are blah, and when i played a few months ago there were like 5 servers with people, and playing it was almsot as if there was no objective, just go to this checkpoint and defend that one. Wasnt very action-y just slow and methodical. Realstic? Yeah? Fun? Guess it depends.

It's alright, but it has the WORST learning curve of anything I've ever seen. Sure it's fun. I agree.
But when I started out, I didn't know what the fuck I was supposed to do! Sure, go to A B and C and capture them. Fine. Theory is ALWAYS different from reality. I couldn't believe how bloody hard it was to find my way to an objective without getting shot. Even waiting, ready to ambush someone with an MG, I'd see someone who jumps into the street and shoots me before I know what happened.
Once you get the hang of it, it's fun. Until then, it's only confusion and frustration.

I bought HL:2 to play this mod. Seriously, I regret. I spent like 4 hours playing insurgency and than gone back to BF2 and mods. If you never liked CS (prefered Battlefield series) - dont waste your time downloading.
