No its not a girl thread.

Okay, how do I solve second order difference equations, I've got a test on it 2moro, but I've lost my notes, n the internet sites I've found are pure turd.

How would I go about solving

2yt+8yt-1+6yt-2=32
i've got a rough idea. I get to the stage:

yt=A1(-1)t+A2(-3)t+2

and have no idea how to do the rest of it

hmmm, I think it might be

yt= (y0+2)(-1)t(-3)t+2

I never thought an economics degree would involve this
