And i had to press F6 to load them.
I was talking to a friend of mine who was talking to a guy from his work about my computer that has some knowledge about computers and programming and through the great vine he said something about checking into the master boot file or hive....does that make any sense?
lol, sorry, that's what my friend could remember when I talked to him...maybe that could shine some light on a potential problem cause?

OK so I went with Dung_bombs advice and installed 3 of the 4 drivers at once (only one i didn't pick was the one that was for Windows2000) and saw the following screen...

It shows 2 hard drives. If I have it set up for RAID0, would it only show as 1 HD or is this correct?

Go get a couple flashdrives and save them on there, reformat, then put them back on.Deadmonkiefart wrote:

On your main post it still says the internet isn't working yet though. I dont know if you have fixed it yet but if you havent:
you need to install the drivers for the network card. Your motherboard is an abit something right? Get to their website on a different computer and download them then put em on CD or something and install them on your main pc. If you still have the motherboard disc for the main pc that's also an option.

I checked the network connections on the PC in the connection settings panel and it says it is hooked up.
Glad to hear that you got it going and that I could help. Happy gaming!
I'm posting this from my PC, wewt wewt! Got the internet working....downloaded a driver from the internet onto a flash drive from my laptop, plugged it in to the PC and there we go. Up and going.

Wait behind the line ..............................................................
Try going on your laptop, or a secondary PC and download the network card drivers for your ABIT motherboard. I have found the IC7-G drivers here: http://www.abit.com.tw/page/en/download … cket%20478 (theyre a pain in the ass to search for!). You need to download the Intel Pro LAN drivers I guess, because those are for your network card. I'm not totally sure but it can never do harm. Download them on a secondary pc, maybe your laptop, burn them to a CD or DVD or send them through a home network, or an external HDD w/e, and install them on your main pc. That should work.PigPopTart wrote:

A little late, but thanks for putting the time in to help. And yes, searching for the ABIT drivers was really annoying.xGj wrote:
