I voted "Other."  I'd really like to see Mac OS X support for BF2.

And what's the difference between an airstrike and artillery in game?  Would an airstrike incorporate napalm and leave things burning for a few seconds so that an area is unreachable?

-binolculars for everyone
-different kind of bombings(carpet bombing and stuff like that)
-animations of you getting in and out of the vehicle(the animation depends on the vehicles health)
-different animation for reloading(like when im being shot at point-black and im outa bullets I gotta reload. My guy reloads as if theres nothing to worry about. That wouldn't happen in real life he would rush to put in the shells/cartridge)
-underground networks
-good physics (throwing your grapling hook onto a chopper would let you climb up while its flying and eventually get onto/into it)
-positions where you can actually sit in the big gap between the two windows(pisses me off how I cant even jump into that area)
-more interactable objects(sry if i said that already)
-dynamic damage on everything(I wanna be able to blow the wings off an aircraft then watch the pilot smash into the ground)
-Paradropping(it would show you in the airplane before you jump out like in Brothers in Arms)

And that's all I can currently think of right now. It would be cool if they did put all this into the next Battlefield but I seriously doubt it.

more danamge on headshots, i need to shoot 3 times in the head with most weapons.

sneaking up to a sniper shooting 3 times in the head with my pistol, it seems odd that he still live the first 2 shots.

i realy like some dynamic damage, being a sniper and going after the legs just to see him in pain ( shoot him in the right leg, the person humps to get away, shoot him in the left leg, the person gets on his knees, wait some time while he looks around to see where he is getting shot at, and atlast, a well placed headshot), i would have some fun with this

How about a 2 second invulnerability period when you spawn so you can atleast take a look around and maybe have a chance to run before that APC or tank smokes your ass? I really hate that when you spawn then 1 second  later see the respawn countdown again.

I loved being able to drive the ships and pound the beach with all the cannons.  Or line up the carrier for a direct bombing run. 

Desert Combat had some great stuff that was left out of BF2

Stingers for the anti tank kit.  Or simply being able to place a stinger box on the map.

I liekd artillary better in bf1942, it took more the none person to just spam it on a flag, you needed a forward observer and then someone shooting.

Would be awsome to have 3 people in the artillary with snipers callling in shots, or maybe spec ops. Could get a team point if the area was nailed in a certin amount of time after they called it in, and someone was killed.

AC130, have it has a mobile spawn point that circles the map. 3 people can control the munitions inside everyone else spawns in the back and can chute out.

The new USMC AAV that they are working on, can go like 50mph in the water.

Being able to control the ships was awsome in bf1942. Mobile artially like the Paladin that the snipers and spec opcs can call cords into.

MORTERS, I remember i think it was joint ops had morters it was freakin awsome.

Two machine guns on tanks, one 50 cal one 30 cal, the driver just uses his 120 and drives.

Anti-tank shold be Assultman, Assult should be Rifleman and medics should be Corpmen =p

Have the commander able to control what spawns on spawn points. So where a hummer spawns it could be a hummer with 50 cal, a hummer with tow or a hummer with nade laucnher. Same with the LAVs, jsut various armorments for each.

Hellfire missles for the helicopters so the gunner can lock on to tanks and apcs, and not use it for air to air combat most of the time. make it like the missles the gunners in the planes have.

I think the one change I listed that would make me the happiest would be the player controled artillary like in bf1942. THe commander can even be able to call in cords for arty but would take a player to accually shoot it.

With that you would need ships with big guns.

Take land mines away from engineers and let them build shit, like TOWs and MGs and AA.

Real bombers would be awsome though with a pilot and a bomber, have some one on the ground laser a spot like was said and a bomber on the plane guide it in.

Carpet bombing b-52s would be awsome as well. Would need bigger maps though.
