If you are talking about the nuclear bomb that USA dropped then yeah might not have been the best choice, but at the start they didn't wanna go in to the war, they got dragged in to it.

The reality is that there will be terrorism around for a long long time. As long as there are percieved inequalities of life in any realm, people will manipulate and be manipulated. Nobody is born with an innate charactaristic for terrorism.
It is a social disease, and it will remain that way until society becomes far more enlightened. Or the human race ceases to exist.
