I'll preface this by stating that I used to not see the point in these threads. So you know, it's deep shit and stuff that I'm doing it. Or something.
Anyway, so there's this girl I like right (there always is isn't there). We're quite good friends (almost painfully entrenched in the friend zone as it were). We used to be worst of enemies but we kinda changed to a love hate type thing and now, seeing as school, which was the catalyst for the hate (competition) we're just really good friends.
We've hung out together a fair bit since school came to an end forevar last year. We've even been out on a few 'quasi dates' - nice clothes, nice restaurant, movie, evening, just the two of us. Anyway that was all a few months ago, and we haven't been socialising or talking on the phone as much recently because her work and my uni has been a bit of a shitstorm. Recently she's been having some personal issues because she's been having a tough time at work, and she confided in me that I'm the only one who has called out of the three close friends she has from her school days to ask her how she's been going.
Anyway her work eases off next week and amongst other things, such as paintball and seeing the Chaser Live, we organised to see Drillbit Taylor, a movie by her favourite director, and have dinner together. The twist this time is that afterwards apparently we're going to go to one of our houses, with a bottle of Absinthe (some mind numbingly hallucinogenic alcohol) and watch TV series (don't know which, but my preference is Black Books - hilarious when drunk apparently) on DVD into the early hours of the morning followed presumably by some kind of collapse and then a taxi/drive home in the morning. Together.
So yeah. Tipzors. It's not that I'm looking to conform to some set structure or anything, I'm just wandering seeing as I've not really been in this kind of situation before.
Educate me.
