people need a different amount of sleep usually it´s between 6-8 dunno how old you´re but if your in your teens you needs abit more. I´m the complete opposite i can´t fall asleep so here i am typing 3 AM as usually i stopped count the nights when i skipped sleep completely.
If you want some tips for staying awake workout gets your body going i always feel up as hell after a workout, coffee never bad just make sure you drink em black if you´re gonna start consuming them hardcore. Videogames aint that bad actually if you wan´t to stay awake gets your adrenaline going too. And of course if possible get your sleep at night.
Edit: On a more serious note you can have a "disease" or whatever don´t know the name in english and can´t be arsed to check it out but what happens is when you are at sleep you keep getting breath-breaks they can go on for minutes with no breathing this fucks up your system pretty rough you won´t take any notice however ( except beeing tired all day ). See a doctor tell him and he´ll make some tests hopefully. If you happen to have this shit you might have to sleep with a huge gasmask looking thing
