Haha. I found the first actual problem with the drivers I'm using.
The following happen only in dod 1.3 so it is a driver problem.

I can play sometimes long without any problems. But sometimes (like a minute ago) the game freezes, I hear error sounds, I get runtime error and something else, display driver crashes few times, I try to stop the hl.exe but after few seconds I get BSOD and reboot. Lol.

The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP

Heheh yeah This is my only rig now. The old rig's mobo and PSU blew up and I sold the ram, CPU and case.
