Just FYI
Good news for the family... nice to see a news item that doesnt end in "found dead" these days.

God forbid you ever lose a child -that is assuming you can convince someone to procreate with you in the first place.Mek-Izzle wrote:

Children go missing everyday, some meet worse fates. Why is it that people care about this particular child than the other hundreds possibly thousands who go missing?
I see on the Bus (those LCD TV's they have on some buses)/Around the city all sorts of ads about missing kids, where's the media circus for them?
I mean, good for the family/the girl. But I hate these cases that seem so big, yet happen every day anyway.
I'm a parent and worry like mad when the elder two don't turn up. Its not the Matthew's family fault that their Daughter has been splashed across the media, rightly so aswell. Don't worryabout the lil un as much as she dosen't leave my sight when she des she is with another parent at least, I am ever so protective.Mek-Izzle wrote:

Your wrong, it doesnt happen every day. Not all children come home, thats the point of letting as many people know, it gives them both hope and the strength to live another day.Mek-Izzle wrote:

you insensitive little pig. the reason why it is important is that the kid is back ALIVE. usually they are found dead.Mek-Izzle wrote:

If my child went missing (god forbid) I would want her face and name splashed all over the press. I care about my family first, myself second, my country third and then Darfur last (Why Darfur btw?)

There are many casualty estimates, most concurring on a range within the hundreds of thousands. The United Nations (UN) estimates that the conflict has left as many as 200,000 dead from violence and disease. Most non-governmental organizations use 200,000 to more than 400,000; the latter is a figure from the Coalition for International Justice that has since been cited by the UN. Sudan's government claims that more than 9,000 people have been killed, although this figure is seen as a gross underestimate. As many as 2.5 million are thought to have been displaced as of October 2006.
It just seems a tad bit more new's worthy if you ask mewikipedia wrote:
