Well in my previous thread I was trying to overclock my AMD 5000 Black Edition to 3.2GHz but was only able to reach 3GHz and I couldn't figure out why.  Well now i'm starting to get BSOD during games.  I'm am totally stumped as to why this is happening.  I've taken some pictures and screenshots to maybe help you figure it out.

System Specs
ASUS M3A AM2/AM2+ w/ PCI-E 2.0
AMD 5000 BE @ 3GHz 15x Multi 1.35v
Corsair DDR2800 @ 4-4-4-12 T1
8800GT @ 660/1900

Temps: 47C Max using Prime 95

If anyone can figure out my 2 issues I will be somebodies bitch for a week and karma to boot! Thanks!

What's the stock multiplier on that CPU?

Try raising/lowering it, and lowering/raising the FSB, respectively.

Oh, and have you raised the voltage at all?

Voltage increase and what kind of cooling do you have.

under fsb try raising it to about 215 and it should put u a bit over 3.2ghz
see if that works

214 would work too

Did that and had the EXACT same problem with BSOD during windows loading.

You should raise your FSB so that your RAM runs at its proper speed of 400 MHz.  I have a 5200+ with DDR2-800MHz RAM and I needed to overclock 17 MHz to boost the RAM up to 400.  My multiplier is at 13x though.

Also try putting everything back at stock.  Does it still BSOD?  If yes, then you're getting the BSOD because of an unstable overclock and either need to tweak it or back off.  If no, then it's probably not the CPU causing the problem.

Exactly what error(s) are you getting on the BSOD?

Well i'm having 2 differen BSOD errors.

1st: Basically when I play BF2 and BF2142 every time after playing a while i'll go into a BSOD.
2nd: When I overclock to 3.2GHz(16x200) during Windows loading.

I have removed my capture card and moved my XF-i card to the next slot over and still has the same effect with BF2 and BF2142.

I have run prime 95 and 2 different RAM check programs and they come back fine.  My temp never reached over 47C during prime97 and voltages are rock solid.  I just can't figure it out.

Well what do the BSOD's say?  For example, I was having a similar problem with BSOD's and mine said "BAD_POOL_HEADER" or "BAD_POOL_CALLER".  So I googled the errors, found out what caused them, and discovered it was my headset drivers that were causing the problems.  The errors won't tell you exactly what's wrong, but they will at least help you narrow it down.  Then with some research you can figure it out.

This one is for my XF-i sound blaster.

This one is for when I overclock to 3.2GHz(16x200).

Edit: After doing some research its a driver error with XF-i.  Of course theres not much I can do about it.

BSOD's are almost always driver related (from what I've experienced).  I guess the only solution is to uninstall the sound blaster drivers... I had to do the same thing with my headset drivers, it really sucks.

Well i'm reading up on ways to fix it from many different sources.  Its funny cause a lot of the same exact error messages are people use Xp 64bit. -_- and I use 32bit of course.
