https://i119.photobucket.com/albums/o155/xXxTheDevilsRejectxXx/REFM7277C.jpg

My Hard Drive is destroyed, so I need a new harddrive.
I also have a x600 that im going to trash, what do you suggest?

I'm thinking the 3.0 PD is sufficent enough for awhile
I also am wondering if i should get a new mobo?
And possibly a new case??

I just bought a new 500w thermaltake PS
and 2gbs of ram.

I dont need it to be insane but i definatly want it to be pretty good.

Its basically a new build, if i get a new mobo all im salvaging are the drives and the processor, or maybe ill throw it away

A Pentium D is nothing compared to even low-end C2Ds. I say, go for a whole new thing, with maybe an E6600 or E6550.

The Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3 is a good midrange board that usually goes for about $100, and an 8800GT, 3870 or 9600GT graphics card. Western Digital and Samsung are good hard drive manufacturers. As for the case, well, if your current one is of ATX standard, it's really up to you to decide.

Also, give the Pentium D to someone needing
The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP

I'd be glad to take care of that card...
