Some of you may (probably wont) remember me posting numerous requests for help in the Tech forum about a website i was making. Well, after months of work, blood, sweat, tears, CSS, online tutorials and a hell of a lot of "fucking hell why wont that work" moments - i think im there. (I realise the header sucks ass (i cant graphic design for shit - the current one was made in powerpoint!))

But, can you tell me what you think... does it all work? Favicons? Contact form? Links? Loading ok?

Looks nice, and it works.

Only downside I see is that it makes me think of jewelery more than bearings and gear boxes.

The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP

It's because there's more content on the aerospace page. The scroll bar pushes it over. This is normal, so just ignore it.

I was referring the header text...I hadn't seen the technical drawings page yet. Now that I've looked at it, yes, definitely get rid of that reflection...it puts it over the top. Reflections and gloss are an overused "Web 2.0" design trend, and, generally, the mark of an amateur designer.

Woah! No idea whats going on there. The menu is pure CSS (not made by me!)... and should be displayed the same for pretty much all users. Have no idea what to do about that. Anyone else getting that?

Firefox not formatting properly again, seems to be happeneing more often of late it's fine in IE and Opera.

And before the fanboys chime in, it's FF not the site, the site is fully HTML 4.01 Strict compliant and the CSS is valid too.

Very nice. Nice color scheme. I too (in Firefox) get the menu to error/misbehave after following some links. A refresh fixes it but that may throw customers.

He means the user. Go to the products page on FF and use 'Ctrl +' and 'Ctrl -' to go up and down the sizes and the menu ends up vertical
