Don't try and be Dr. Freezer and start diagnosing your health problems. I'd be seeing a doctor if I were you. You could have had a stroke, like other members have said, and you never know what else could have happened to your brain.Freezer7Pro wrote:
Yes, I know that passing out isn't normal, but the fact that the I had been standing in the shower with fairly hot water for a good 20 minutes (Yes, I shower for ages.) when I started washing my hair and the water became warmer seems like a propable cause for it, some blood vessels expanding too much or something.

I don't usually film myself in the shower. This time was no exception.kptk92 wrote:
Youtube it
Before your blood vessels would have expanded that much... before you would have been lulled to sleep by the warmth.... YOU WOULD HAVE SUFFERED PRETTY BAD BURNS.
And if it's that easy for heat to make you pass out, then you could very easily die of heat stroke.

Don't take a shower unless your mommy is home. Problem solved. /thread
Normal people NEVER pass out just because you get a little too hot - normal people burn them selves first (tends to wake you up!)Freezer7Pro wrote:
Naw, I feel fine now, just a bit shaky. Don't think it's anything more serious than that it got a little too hot for a bit too long.Flaming_Maniac wrote:
Go to the goddamn doctor.
Listen to FM.... Hes a Mod you cant trust him
Yeh yeh, I'll see the nurse on tuesday, if that's what you all want.SEREMAKER wrote:
I think we are all in agreement here ................. go see the Doc ........... passing out like that is NOT normal, espically since it sounds like you might have had a mild stroke
The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP

Ask when you go to the doctor to be tested.Freezer7Pro wrote:

when was the last time u had eaten something? did u smoke teh herb? I've passed out quite a few times from various mixtures of the two.
It's probs just vasovagal syncope (u can google it if you want), which is very common and not exactly hard to treat. I'd go to the doctor who'd give u more advice
Lol, I basically haven't eaten anything but a thin slice of beef and an ice-cream todayCTD-CaptainBuck wrote:

I seriously think you just had a minor stroke. Next time it may not be so minor, see a doctor.
Somewhere, something incredible is waiting to be known.
I've done that , happened allot when i was younger i think i was around 18-19 last time i fainted after a hot shower. Sometimes i would feel that i would be fainting and managed to lay down others i would just collapse and wake up with uncontrollable muscle spasm for a few secs
Oh yea these things usually happen after you have been having a hot shower/bath and then suddenly raise up
no... just plain no...KILLSWITCH wrote:

i guarantee it wasn't a stroke
i've had that happen before to me, i didn't pass out but i really felt the black closing in...
i don't really understand it that well but it is just overheating of the body
I have to say if you passed out you should see a doctor though, because if you ever pass out it's a good thing just have them explain it away...
tbh
after consulting my dad (neuroseurgeon) and my mom (internist) they both said you should get your ass to a hospital because it might not have been heat triggered, in fact it almost never is. And if one of these is triggered while your driving a car, riding a bike, skiing, or anything like that, you could be permanently and irreversibly injurred not to mention you could easily hurt some one else.
get yourself to a doc... preferably a specialist cause they know what they are talking about, nurses generally are much less knowledgeable. Go to the doctor, not a nurse.

Thats why around saunas and hot tubs they have those warnings to limit your use.
Go to the fucking doctors idiot.
Ha, this reminded me of this time I was fucking my wife in the shower, the water was really hot and there was slot of steam, as i climaxed i passed out. It was pretty intense. glad your ok though freezer!
Has brain damage?
