its a tumor
Just talked with mom a bit, and it seems like the ventilation in the bathroom is broken. Could've just been lack of oxygen due to the steam.
The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP
lol. You shower in a space station?

Uh, steam isn't dense enough to cause that problem. You'd likely drown first. As well, it would be more dense towards the ground as it's heavier then air. You wouldn't have woken up if that was the case.Freezer7Pro wrote:

DOCTOR. My sister passed out shopping once (she shopped til she dropped! ha..) and in the hot shower. Turns out it was a mild heart problem that had something to do with the temperature. I didn't go to the doctor with her, I can't say what it was verbatim. But it definitely wasn't nothing.Freezer7Pro wrote:

Edit: Reread: By nurse if you mean school nurse, that may help but in the end you should go to a full fledged spent-too-much-time-in-college doctor.

There was a lady who was killed in the 1970s when she passed out in the shower, hit her head, fell on her back and then drowned as her mouth filled up with water.
I once passed out for like 2 seconds in an extremely hot shower.
Snapped out of it thinking, huh wut happened 0.o (fallen over half, leaning against the wall)

exactly the same thing happened to me except i woke up/snapped out of it while on the floorGamematt wrote:

Youtube itYes, I know that passing out isn't normal, but the fact that the I had been standing in the shower with fairly hot water for a good 20 minutes (Yes, I shower for ages.) when I started washing my hair and the water became warmer seems like a propable cause for it, some blood vessels expanding too much or something.djphetal wrote:

There are also other dangerous places you could pass out, so... do yourself and everyone who knows you a favor and see a doctor. It may save your life.
Get your lazy ass to a doc.

Are you sure you didn't faint, and not pass out? Fainting is pretty common in the shower and there are guys in my assembly (we have to stand on a Tuesday) who faint because of lack of ventilation and 150 boys in the room. It's not a pretty site when someone does collapse to the floor and is unable to move for a few seconds.
Glad you talked with your mother though...that's a smart thing to do.

Freezer, WTF?
If you don't go to the doctor, I'll issue a citizens ban on you.

Should I even say it?
Go to the doc!!!!!!
Go to the doc!!!!!!
Your stubbornness to go to a doctor leads me to believe either you are lying, or just being stupid. If all this did really happen, then go to a doctor. Better to go now than to wake up next time paralysed. Or in the case of my uncle, not to wake up at all.Freezer7Pro wrote:

Pfft. I go to the sauna almost every day for a good 10-20 minutes and never felt anything weird and sertainly haven't passed out.2tuff wrote:

Actualy I don't think I've ever passed out in my life
The "Water-temp-control-wheel-thing" controls the thermostat. If one was being overly pedantic one might say "The Thermostat Control Dial". But, generally, "Thermostat" would be acceptable and sufficient to impart the correct meaning to your statement.Freezer7Pro wrote:

Oh and might be an idea to check with your doctor, just in case. But as others said - sounds like overheating. have you been overclocking yourself?

Eh, not true. You've never seen anyone faint because they overheated? I've almost done the same thing Freezer did, but I got out before I fainted. I felt sick and had a headache for about a half hour afterwards. It was because I was taking a hot shower right after I had just worked out. While I would advise that you go to the doctor Freezer, the rest of you don't need to be such drama queens.KylieTastic wrote:

Naw, I feel fine now, just a bit shaky. Don't think it's anything more serious than that it got a little too hot for a bit too long.Flaming_Maniac wrote:
