Does anyone ever actually use overwrite?
Or is it just there to fuck me up when I accidentally hit the 'Ins' button and then type over what I've already written (yeah, I'm one of those look-at-the-keyboard-while-I-type people).
OK it's a pretty pointless question, but I was just curious. The only reason I can think of for it's existence is it was a default on early word processors because people were used to typewriters.
