It's funny that whoever posted this seemed to agree with Andrew Ryan.
Yet, Bioshock is basically a parody of everything that Ayn Rand preached.
Life is truly a balance between "altruism" and "individualism". This is a balance that every society must determine for its own wellbeing.
Where we should be on that balance depends on your priorities. All that is certain is that Communists form one extreme (altruism or collectivism) and the capitalists/objectivists/libertarians form the other (individualism).
Bioshock did an excellent job of showing how the objectivist extreme is no better than the Communist one.
