In the past 10 days when I boot up for the first time or reboot I get a message that says

"Windows has recovered from a serious error"

this does not happen everytime or everyday, just randomly.

also, about 4 days ago I got a BSOD while a BF2 map was loading.

My system is only 6 months old and i am running windows xp home .

So far I have no suffered any real damage but I am worried about what i should do.

Thank you for replies

I get the same error on my P.O.S. laptop. It'll randomly shutdown and beep uncontrollably.

That happens sometimes. Nothing to worry about. Usually ends after some time. I get that about every 5th boot, sometimes it pops up like 10x after I shut the box
The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP

send the error report.  sometimes it will actually give you a solution.  it's rare, but it might...
