Good they have been brought to rights but IMO its hardly justice. A good hiding and then 15 years spent paying back the monies that their damage has caused will do.

Our town used to be awful for joyriders and one day a few locals snapped the legs of one lad who kept doing it, he re-offended so they threw him onto the train tracks, he didnt survive, he didnt go on to kill any kids as joyriders do. A bit harsh I know but my idea would be if your caught joyriding your going to have the tip of your little finger cut off, thus a reminder to you not to do it again.

Im glad the authorities have stopped sending little twats on safari to teach them a lesson as that obviously never worked.
