ROFL that gts is an overkill, and that 300W PSU is going to blow up when you going to run it with an 8800series card.... Oh, and get another gig of ram.
This reminds me of what I had.
I had to move my HDD's because I couldn't connect my 8800GS powercable.

Thanks for the input everyone, I guess I'll poke around at Fry's when I go back to return the first card.
Thats the thing with uber cards these days. Not only do you look for the actual spec, you have to look at the fucking dimensions of the card.
just get yourself a hacksaw and chop the last half centimetre off.
Is the motherboard an SLI/Crossfire board? If so, you should be able to run the card in the bottom PCIx16 slot.
But even then, you'd still need a bigger PSU.

OT: 8800's wont run on that psu anyway. imo throw the case and psu out and buy a bigger and better psu and case.
just wondering... the 9600 is roughly the same length isnt it? just wondering...
7600GT From BFG is an amazing card.
I'd love to but there's only one PCI slot and its at the top.Sup3r_Dr4gon wrote:
