Hey , I have a simple question: Is it possible to run a dedicated server and play in it at the same time (on the same pc). If so, I can't, it tells me to check my network settings. I opened all ports, and other players can join the game...

edit: I forwarded all ports in my router, and put my internal IP address in the Bf2ServerLauncher. When I put my external IP in it, the server doesn't run at all.

Yes its possible, Run it like you were before it stopped working and when you join it use your internal IP address to join the server. (ie. 192.168.1.1)

What if you want others to connect to it. What IP do you give them to connect to if you set up the server using your router IP?

if everything is set up allright, they should be able to join via your own pc's IP. http://whatsmyip.org/

Nvm, its fixed already, thx for the help anyway. I just had to join through join network game, not join online game...

YEs, run it on lan not Internet

Also got Bf2cc running now, not that i need it, but it works great!
