Ok I have only had vista for 1 DAY and I already getting really pissed off with it. I cant even install a goddamn wireless adaptor that says its compatible with vista. Well anyway my old computer has xp installed on it but I bought it with xp already on it and didnt get the xp disc or anything with it. So is it possible to copy xp from my old system and install it on my new rig? I really dont know if that will work but I spent a crap load of money on my new rig and dont have enough to get xp. So is there anyway to copy xp from my old pc to my new one?

Apparently I cant unistall vista. So can I install xp and have that as a main operating system?

If you didn't get XP discs, its more than likely a 1st tier OEM (HP, Dell, Compaq, Toshiba, etc.), who use their own versions of XP which don't work with any retail or system builder OEM disc.

Also that's piracy.

More than likely you're trying to install it with the CD that came with it - which is for XP.

Also, assuming this is your only Internet connection, Vista cannot find the drivers itself.

Go to Netgear's site, dial in your model number and get Vista-64 drivers, or give Vista your ethernet and let it find it itself... it.

ok so if I go to my girlfriends house and hook up the ethernet to my pc it should find the driver itself and then work? if so that would be so awsome.

It might, if you search for the Vista driver on the website of the manufacturer.

Vista works fine with my Linksys Wireless-G adapter. Getting a 78% connection signal right now.

Just gotta find the right driver.

64 bit is your problem mate, huge compatability issues there.

What did you do to get it to work? Download the driver? If so do you have a link for me? Would really appreciate it.
