So I get on my computer today, and I click FireFox, and as soon as I click is says, "Firefox stopped working"

Then I try again, and again etc.

Nothing, I tried Internet Explorer - No Connection, then I exit IE and it says "Internet Explorer has stopped working"

Im looking at my little internet connection icon and it says Local and Internet, ive tried to repair (Vista looks for problems) and it finds nothing.

I am typing to you from my dads computer, 25 feet away on the same network (this is wireless though)

Any ideas? The last update says it was on the 16th (2 days ago) so I dont really think its SP1

Vista flamers, GTFO.

(also it cant connect to the iTunes store, so im guessing no internets?)

Is the internets plugged in?
If its wireless try a wired connection.
Might have screwed some files while updating is my guess.

tbh, firefox may have to figure V-SP1 out a bit.

incompatability isn't out of the question, really...

Are you using ports on your mobo or a network card?
Try re-installing the drivers, it might have gone screwy there.

Roll back driver?? Think that might help for a first try?

And on the mobo, its an ASUS Crosshair, do I just google for network drivers on the Crosshair?

Probably, try ASUS' site and see if there are any new drivers that support SP1.
If that doesnt work re-install the drivers.

That doesnt explain the unconnectivity to the internet via IE or iTunes though

Thats a possibility, and if true thats sereiuosly fucked, people cant get on the internet to download new hotfix for their broken Internet Browser

Cycle of death.

Reminds me of lulz, "Failure to connect to the Internet" click here to check the internet for solutions

Do you happen to use NOD32 by any chance? That caused similair problems sometimes on my end. (Disable and enable IMON to fix)
