I'm currently Vacation'ing near Palm Springs California.. (Indio to be more exact)

Hopefully someone around here wil have some info for me..

Me and my dad want to go ATVing/Quading somewhere around here. We need a place where we can ride right from the rental place, and that hopefully has some decent Quads to rent. We'd rather not have some POS that only goes like 20 MPH.. Both of us have a RMz-450 at home in BC, can.. And I rode a quad all summer so its gonna be lame if I get something that has no power at all..

The only place I've came across so far is a place called "Offroad Rentals" or something..

Thier website is www.offroadrentals.com

Apparently according to our GPS its only like a 35 minute drive from where I am... But I was wondering if there is another other places where you can rent and ride from around here, or if anyone has been to the place I'm talking about..

I also wouldn't mind a place where you can rent Dunebuggys.. But only if you can drive them yourself.. I don't want to go on some lame tour where some guy drives... I'm 17 and I have my drivers License.. I dunno what the age limits are or anything on them.

Thanks

I was out there last weekend off Dillon Road. Basically cruise until you see the sand dunes and clouds of dust from the republicans destroying the desert. Pull over, park, ride. As long as it is not private property, you are good. Stay out of the canyons unless you know what you are doing or have a guide. The sand dunes are a blast.

If you are out until the weekend of the 29th, pm and I will meet you out there and guide you into a desert canyon wonderland full of amazing blooming ocotillo gardens and pristine yucca forests.

I have a profound love for the Mojave.

I go out often, alone on my bike 20 or more miles from roads, get a little fuzzy and shout my gratitude at the clouds.

It's so quiet your own heart beat makes your ears ring and a crows cawing creates an echo. The geology is amazing and if you know where to look there is plenty of evidence of ancient people in the pottery shards and grinding circles. Just looks for springs or waterways an walk them after a rain storm in the summer before the hordes of tourists.

GOOD TIMES.

Fuck I just reported your post...hic

I meant to say;

Oh yeah.

There are someplaces you are like, " if I crash, I will either fall off the cliff, get impaled by that yucca or break my neck on the quarts monzonite. "

It's like when you are climbing in Yosemite; you just don't fall.

Good shit man.
