Hey guys...I hope it is appropriate to post this here...if not...i apologize.

After playing BF2 for almost 3 years..... Karkand and Jalala got a little boring.

SO..........

Sick of the claymore noobs and nade spammers?

Come check out the V|.R Violent Revolution server. FF is on.
This is a North American server located on the east coast.
We play maps that are a little less common.

Currently we are running small infantry maps on the 32 player server.

Map rotation: All 16 player infantry only. 4 rounds per map.

Dragon Valley

Gulf of Oman

Daqing Oilfields

Sharqi Peninsula

Songhua Stalemate

Mashtuur City

So I invite you all to check what map we're cooking today or post your suggestions!

Yeah.....seems like the server has lots of overseas players......unfortunately the majority of our PAYING members are in North American.

Good idea to play lesser played maps. Just recently its felt like Battlefield 2 = Karkand and nothing else. Pity Im out in Hong Kong at the moment, the ping would be horrendous. Hopefully someone over this side of the world has the same idea as you. Not likely as EA Japan and EATW all run Karkan and Wake 24/7s.

yeah the small maps didn't work out......we're trying with 24/7 mash IO 32 player.... so far so good

But the server is good. Baserape C4 Claymore 'n' stuff...

Only one question... Whats with the rule: NO fighting Commander* or No Commander - Most servers have it...
I was a figthing Co and it was 3vs3 some dude pointed it out(*). I didnt say anything but, i wasnt gonna leave my men out there to die
Them 4 on us 2 or so... And I dont leave a man behind..

Try writing VR only
U should get 2+ servers shown on the list, then you choose Violent Revolution
Unless they have some time when they r online or something...

Yeah we the commander rule is "commander command" so that means that as long as the UAV is up and you hard spot here and there you should be ok.

Also we decided to go with Karkand only because we had trouble keeping it populated otherwise.

Plus the ip can be found in my sig below to both the Karkand 32 player map size IO server and our new 64 player maps size Jalalabad IO

We got a Fushe Pass server. Its got choppers tanks and boats...no jets.... I like it... enjoy! BTW anyone know why he server is not showing up in the BF2 game server search?

If I were you, I wouldn't run infantry at all. There isn't many, but there is a small band of loyalists who still appreciate vehicles!

P.S. I checked the server listings, 790 servers running karkand. 113 running other maps.

It took you 3 years to figure this out?

Took me about a month to figure out Kark was annoying, and 10 min to never set foot in an IO server again.

I do prefer with vechiles to, its more variated. Also size 16 maps are great, but i cant find lot of servers who run them. I also started making my own maps, theire the best
