Can't post comparisons, but I have Icemats and they're great. Great sound quality, great mic (clip it onto the cord and point it at your face, works just as well as a boom mic without the boom, and no hassle) and very comfortable.

yea that zalman looks pretty good its suppose to have surround sound the only thing is it looks abit heavy/bulky i can get it for about 50$ the fatal1ty one is about 44 and the icemat is about 80$ but it looks sick in black i agree.

if you get the fatality ones spend the extra 10-20 dollars and get the professional series.

best headphones w/mic I have ever owned.

I have a €30 logitech headset and it sounds fine

But as you really want to spend big money on a headset: Go for the zalman one.

I thought the pro series was like $250 tho those standard fatality ones are only 45, im sort of leaning towards the icemat siberia ones ive heard good things i just have to find a aussie site that sells them fairly cheap.

I'm using beyerdynamic DT 770 headphones. If I feel like talking on the mic, I just slip my BF2 pre-order headphones on underneath them (ear pieces above my ears). Comfortable for extended gaming sessions and works like a charm. There's also a better range of motion for the microphone than with integrated headsets.

Na im buying it for sound quality not so much for the mic but would prefer it had a mic on it.
