AK with Stopping Power

Over the last week I've noticed that about 80% of players seem to be wielding the AK47 with Stopping Power and Deep Impact (and occasionally Steady Aim). I'm just wondering where this new trend has come from and if it has been reproduced on other international servers?

I'd complain but then the weapons I use kill just as easily (m1014 and the tube) so that would kind of render said accusations pointless.

I attribute it to the beginning of the 'HOMG WE IZ SO FULLY LEET WE TOOK OUT ALL TEH PERKS FOR TEH CS FANS' ladder (CyberGamer) over here, and the start of the normal ladder too.

Anyway, is this plague on other servers or is it just following me around as a result of some ill that I committed in a past life?

I wasn't aware it was a plague. In fact I had it on one of my kits for a while and then I switched it up. (For some reason I always have to keep switching up my kits, I can't keep any of them steady).

Yeah well maybe the word plague doesn't apply because it has negative connotations... perhaps fad?

And yeah I had one in my kits for a while but it really didn't do anything for me personally.

Can't say I've noticed it particularly, though I do have that exact set up for my standard run around like a psycho type kit (shiny gold AK of course ).

Even a fad. I just didn't notice everyone else was using it
Oh well, I guess I'm lucky I'm not part of that fad anymore Currently am using M14 + Sleight of hand... and I actually like it a lot

Well I used to use a combination of the mp5 and m16 depending on the range but now I have also converted to the AK. I use bandolier and dead silence though.

Because it's easy as hell to use probably.

I'm working towards getting moar golden guns, just got the golden M60, had the dragunov for a while.

Pretty sloe with shotguns, but i like using ARs. During this i have discovered the G36C is so incredibly easy to get headshots with, even if you just spray like hell.

Steady aim is good only if you shoot from the hip. With an RDS its useless.... it wont do anything.
