fuck yes! Time to see some nice improvements with my dual 8800GT
once upon a midnight dreary, while i pron surfed, weak and weary, over many a strange and spurious site of ' hot  xxx galore'. While i clicked my fav'rite bookmark, suddenly there came a warning, and my heart was filled with mourning, mourning for my dear amour, " 'Tis not possible!", i muttered, " give me back my free hardcore!"..... quoth the server, 404.

Beat me to it. Same damn thing.

Why did you post this, .Sup? You even posted several times in the other topic.
The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP

I think it warrants its own topic...I certainly wouldn't of looked in the Crossfire topic again as I saw the results..

Anyone else notice that Windows loads slower in SP1 than it did before? It locks on the welcome screen for 4 secondsish, as opposed to less than .1 seconds..

Way slower... it's ridiculous.

And, since my computer already had the Window SLI hot-fixes : SP1 = no performance improvement.  None, nada, zippo... as far as I can tell. Any miner fixes MS made, under the hood, can't be measured in human perception terms.

hmmm... Since I see it as slowing my system down, can I somehow uninstall this POS 'update'?
