Which phone should I get?

The one walkman sony phone I looked at required sony memory stick, rather then micro SD...and was limited to 2 gig.

If you want it for music look into that, I was surprised as hell since its sold as half music player.

I have one of these sitting in a drawr, same model and everything. Takes 72 hours to charge for 5 hours standby time.

I have a W810i, with a gig stick, and I've only got 512mb of music on it. That's MORE than enough, I don't get these 30gb iPods, there's no need. Songs you can listen to over and over but movies you watch once and then again a few months later.

Both are pretty shoddy phones tbh.

Nokia make much, much higher quality phones than Sony. However if you are going to be using it for music that Sony one is a much better bet, mostly because Sony headphones > most.

I'd go with the Nokia though (and I have both of them).

Well, different stokes, different fokes...

I had the 2 gig, and after loading it full I would get new albums and be pissed I can't fit it on my phone.
I have 4 gig now, and its just enough...6-8 would be perfect. If I have less then like 3.5 gig I end up getting annoyed because I'll have a song stuck in my head but its not on my phone because I didn't have room.

I'll admit that's fairly trivial, but if I'm gonna use the thing as a mp3 player I don't want to only be able to carry a small selection of my music. It is really nice to have almost every song you could possibly want to hear at a given moment in your pocket at all times.

I just need a semi decent/semi cheep pair of 2.5mm headphones.
