ASUS F5SL

Just bought mine yesterday, fucking kickass..

At 6550 HKD which is equal to 840USD

Specs:

Core Duo T5450@ 1.66
2GB DDR2-667
160GB @ 5400RPM
DVD Writer + Burner
802.11G
Vist Home Premium
Radeon HD 3470 with external 256MB GDDR3

Ethernet
4USB
Wireless Bluetooth/balbahlhl
Card Reader for over 40+ cards
Microphone and Headphone Jacks
Intergreated 1.3 Megapixel webcam with microphone.
DVI + VGA Output Connections

One thing I'm really impressed with is the ASUS Power4Gear which basically allows you to set profiles for:

Extreme Power/Entertainment/Power Saving/Quiet OFfice with both plugged in and on battery profiles, you can change settings for the:

Maximum/Minimum Processor Rate
Vista Start Menu On Button Function
Close Screen Actions
TURN off HDD/displayer after X minutes
Sleep/Hibernate after X minutes
Brightness

Truly amazing finish and performance for the price, will post pictures if requested.

But honestly, I'd recommend this to anyone, its simply amazing.

Nice, but, eh, what Windows OS can't set those profiles?
The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP

Lol, nah, it's actually decent. My uncle's old one from late 2004. Pentium M 1.6GHz, 512MB RAM (Gonna upgrade to 1280MB ASAP), Radeon 9200 64MB and 40GB HD (Also in for upgrade ASAP). Runs BF2 fine on lowest settings, and is really, really silent. And that's all that matters to me
