I think that sound she hears is the sound of the nail being driven into the coffin of her campaign. Youtube>bald faced lies.

I think I can safely say that the Democratic party often functions like the best friend of the Republican one. They're quite good at blowing presidential elections.
Here's to hoping you're right, ATG. Obama is really the only hope the Democrats have in beating McCain, and that hope is rather slim to begin with.

With all that, and the candidates can't come up with a message that resonates with the public. Is that the public's fault, or is it the fault of the candidates? I choose the latter.ATG wrote:

8 years of Bush, 5+ years of Iraq, economy on the bricks, gas is out of control. How is it that the dems couldn't muster a viable candidate?
It reminds me of when Dole ran, it was like the republicans just didn't care.
It seems like that for all of the talk the democrats are content to hand it to McCain. It seems like nobody must have looked at Obama, I'm mean come on...the church thing...
They knew Hillary is not liked, hell I don't think the democrats like her and everybody else hates her.
What gives?
The Dems definitely screwed the pooch last election, but it wasn't "I'm not Bush" which was the message that lost, the message was "I'm like Bush, only with better hair."FEOS wrote:

The dems didn't figure out after the last election that "I'm not Bush" simply isn't enough reason to elect them to office.
