Fuck you Dick Cheney, fuck you and every last one of your fucking cohorts. How dare they call themselves Americans?

Hey Dick, they volunteered to protect this nation and the laws (The Constitution) it stands for. Funny how you and your pal Bush shit on that silly document, right?

And how the hell does BUSH carry the burden? That fucker hasn't lost a child, a father, a mother, a brother, a friend in Iraq.

Even more ironic, Dick dodged the draft in Vietnam. Yep... you sure can criticize the soldiers when you fucking did everything you could to avoid having to do some idiot politician's work.

Our "leaders" disgust me, and I cannot fathom how our next Presidential administration could possibly be worse.

It's too bad he didn't say this back in 2004.  It might've been enough to give Kerry the win.

It's what we need. I hope it's coming. I want the banks charging 29.99%  interest on credit cards to fail. I want the companies writing adjustable rate mortgages to fail. I want Pennsylvania Ave in flames if that's what it takes.

Well, Dick Cheney is an evil fuck.

I don't mean "WTFOMG EVIL EVIL EVIL!!!!!!!"

I mean, he's e-vil.  In a very real, very calculated way.  He doesn't care for human beings, craves power, makes decisions based on political gain, rather than the greater good for humans.  Just a soulless, immoral, corrupt human being.  There completely is no good in him.

Agreed - Cheney personifies evil.

GWB dodged the draft also, he admitted it publicly.

But not do any actual fighting eh?

1st: Don't take this as a criticism, but you are, politically, so hard to figure out! That's a good thing though, because it just means you don't subscribe to one party or belief system.
2nd: The Beatles are better than anything ever.
3rd: I don't agree. Seriously though, economic crisis, however inescapable, I still feel will be pretty terrible. Even if we "need" it (which I guess I could see), I don't see how anyone could wish it to happen (especially a man with 2 young children).
4th: On Topic... Cheney is a fuckhead.

Even though I don´t agree on Cheney said about Bushs burden and really don´t sympathize with the whole war, I still have to say
he is totally right about the "volunteer" thing.
If you joined any of the armed forces in the states during the last 7 years,
you should have know that there is a very high chance for you to be deployed to warzone, and might get killed.
That is part of the contract you sign.
As a politician you should maybe stay away from dropping words like those, but the fact still remains.

Don't get me wrong. I'm considering joining the Armed Forces when I'm older, I know full well that I could get sent to that stupid place.

But if Bush and Co. had not been power-hungry fucksticks, we wouldn't have 4,000 dead.

I'll say two things that I will probably get flamed to hell for.

1.) That site is biased as hell, though I still believe that the article is telling the truth.
2.) Say what you want about Bush, he aint the greatest president in history, and he aint the worst. I'd say he probably does care, to at least some extent, about the troops and the country, Dick on the other hand is "power hungry" as people have stated. Remember, elections are between a "turd sandwich and a douche bag" to quote from South Park. Until we get people actually worthwhile running for government positions, there will always be a fuck up in there.

Criticism is ok.
I guess the situation is we are really struggling financially ( me and mine ), and I'm freaking out. I sometimes try to drown it and get obsessing about change; alcohol does make you think a little off.

Today sober, I still feel ill with stress. But it is easier to say with a straight face America is the greatest country. These changes we are going through...who can say whether they are going to be good or bad in the long run.

When I talk of revolution, it is mostly the voice of desperation speaking. Look at our choices in the upcoming election; how can any thinking person feel good about it? The two party system is a mess, and watch Al Gore come in to save the day for the democrats.  The open border situation combined with universal heathcare benefits promised by the left will ruin us. I believe it.

Lol at huffington post. They're one of the most extremist left wing news sites out there. Odd I couldn't find a link or anything supporting their claim.

The Bush administration is a joke, don't get me wrong. But you can't believe anything that comes from that joke of a site.

For now, I am going to assume what he said was taken out of context.

UPDATE:

March 24 ABC News interview.

UPDATE II: I say he was taken out of context. In the video listen to what he says about "volunteer" @ 3:14

Is this what you think it means to serve in the Armed Forces?  Simply to "protect this nation and the laws it stands for" based upon your interpretation?

Those in the Armed Services volunteer to follow the orders of their superiors.  That's it.  And, if (a) our government declares war or (b) our government decides to do a "UN peace-keeping mission" or (c) our government decides to deliver humanitarian aide using military resources, or (d) our government decides to go fight in a European war, or retaliate because a Middle Eastern country whoops up on a small country ... then our military men and women respond with excellence to that charge.

The Armed Services does much more than defend this nation ... they enforce the policies of our government.

I don't think he says that's what it means. I think He means What it means to the people signing up, thier reasons for joining.  Two very different things.

Anyone who signs up, knows full well that thier job is to follow orders, whatever they may be, but as for the reasons for siging up and agreeing to that, That's what imgeussing that he's going for.

Yes, that's what I was going for.

And OHound... ok, so they're enforcing the policies of the government. So continue reading... how I said it's a mutual agreement. The soldiers agree to enforce the policies, the government should agree to make policies that MAKE SENSE. Instead of going into Iraq for... well, nothing as evidenced by the WMD search.
