Basically, it's a show about a guy who goes around scaring the shit out of sleeping animals. Like he could sneak up on a sleeping gorilla, scare the shit out of him, then try to escape.

That would be good, up until the point where the guy gets raped by the animal. And by raped I mean ripped apart. He'd have to be a very good tracker to even get close to the animal without it noticing.
A different idea that could be more comical would be to tranq the animal, then have a go at it with an electric razor, the common theme being giving the animal a mohawk.
