I'm begrudgingly stuck with Verizon. I don't need an uber-phone, just a decent one. Sub-100 dollars. What are some good ones?
Max $100? Thats too bad...this is an awesome phone.

I've heard... pretty bad things about the RAZRs. Slow interfaces.ebug9 wrote:

Serious Flex
Samsung Alias is really nice. It flips both like an EnV and a Razr.
I concur, I have one, they are unimpressive and sluggish.HurricaИe wrote:

i wish I could switch to Sprint
No you don't ... you absolutely DO NOT want Sprint. Worst service in the region.HurricaИe wrote:

Sprint is only worth it if you know a ton of people with two way. Their cell service is miserable.
I heard they were good. I remember seeing some ad where with certain phones, you had really good call quality because it used their broadband network frequencies. But, ok OHound I trust you... I guess whoever said they were good doesn't live in DC.OrangeHound wrote:

Verizon's phone selection is just the fail. I really don't have a need for something like an LG enV. Those Sony Walkman phones are nice but, surprise! Verizon and Sprint are like the only CDMA carriers in the omniverse. Our European friends all use GSM and all have badass phones and phone plans and functions (e.g. If you're a Brit you can go to France, buy a french SIM card, and use your phone there).
We actually did use Nextel for a bit. It was OK, but once again their phone selection was fail (but their phones sure are rugged).

Verizon is stuck in the Dark Ages and uses CDMA, not GSM.Zimmer wrote:
