Am not sure if it is debate worthy, but for me, its certainly serious talk.
I was at a wedding the other day, and, the band descided to play a song called ''Come Back Paddy Reilly To Ballyjamesduff''. Nothing quite remarkable about that, however, at that exact moment, my mother called me on the cell to ask how I was, and she instantly recognised it. She went on to tell me, that I am actually a great great (unsure on how many greats are in it) grandson. Apparantly, my Great Granny Keelan, was Anie Reilly, Paddy Reilly's daughter. N as such, as you go down the generations, you come to me.
I was hoping that some of you guys (perhaps Irish ancestorly yourself) could help shed some light on who the guy actually was for me. All I am aware of, is that he was a 'nice guy' lol
Again, not quite debate like, but, the band certainly took it as a big deal, so does anyone know of the significance of this?
