You can also make it run once in window if you can get in.
Start/Execute/cmd---> Then type in chkdsk c:
This will run the scandisk in dos mode...prolly wont ask you again when booting up

Im having this same problem but Im not too good with computers
It will run if you didn't shutdown properly, or thinks that there are errors on the disc.
Yeah I had to hardboot once because my video card had some problem and the screen went black. Ive tried what they posted above but the check still comes.
Checkdisk? Windows 98, anyone?
The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP

chkdsk is on every windows OS.
Even Vista.
If you install a new NTFS volume with, say another copy of windows installed, then Vista automatically does a chkdsk when you boot up.
It also does if you fuck up big time.
Okay I fixed it...
