Help me pick a GFX card...

Hello, me again. I recently had issues with a 8800GT alpha dog edition and I sent it to the warranty, where I basically got a refund (The company that ordered It, got the refund) So here are some of my options now:

1)
Sparkle GeFORCE 8800GT PCI-E, 512MB gDDR3, 256Bit, Core Clock 600MHZ, Memory Clock 1800MHz, HDTV-OUT, DUAL DVI Passive
Price I could get it for: 250$

2)
VGA 512MB GDDR3 PCIE16 8800GT/GV-NX88T512HP GIGA-BYTE
Price I could get it for: 260$

3)
GIGABYTE NX88S512H-B, 8800GTS/ 512MB DDR3/ PCI-E/ 256-bit/ Direct X 10/ TV-Out,HDTV/DUAL DVI/ VGA Engine 700MHz/Memory 2000Mhz/RAMDAC 400Mhz
Price I could get it for: 309$

4) (Would mean I'd have to wait a bit though, If I'd pick this. I don't mind)

What the hell is wrong wit you EVGA fans? Are you saying EVGA8800GT 512>any8800GTS 512? All non oced cards are the same just the cooler and sticker is different.

They're obsessed with the step-up program, which is marketing in my eyes. If I saw a XFX 88GT 512 and a Evga 88GT 512 and the XFX one is 5,00 cheaper, I go for the XFX one.

So yeah, their support fucking OWNS!

The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. Gigabyte has really good support as well. My mobo died and since they have 3-year warranty i got a new one. The mobo that died was a nf3 AGP and i got nf4 PCI-X for free! Beat that EV.........

or get an 8800GT with zalman cooling (€220 around here) and OC it to GTS speeds. That will save you at least €50.

# Shader Clock Speed of 1600MHz
# 512MB GDDR3 Memory running at 1900MHz

if i overclock any more it may just die ...with its shitty stock cooling haha

fair play though engineerfox...i saw ur components in tht other thread...get a case though quick dude ...before tht dust gets to ur hardware

I've used Step-Up both times I purchased Evga, doubling my performance from a 6800XT-7600GT, and getting 30% going from a 8800GTS 640 to 8800GTS 512. It is worth 5 extra dollars.

The customer support owns, too. I haven't had a better experience with customer service than with Evga.
