I just switced to Vista x64 and my catpure card is not compatible with it. The card is not made anymore and their is no more support for it. So I was wondering if anyone knows a good capture card for under $100. I don't need HD or anything of that nature just one that can capture audio video through composite. Thanks!

I must agree. Vista's good, but it's good to have a 10GB XP partition, for cases like this.unnamednewbie13 wrote:

The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP
I don't want to dual boot. I like things the way they are. Its time I got a new capture card anyways its 4 years old and I only paid $20 for it.
For multi-OS configurations, it's better to have each one on a different drive, if possible.Freezer7Pro wrote:

I use my Hauppauge WinTV PVR-350 as a capture card for VHS. Check out that perhaps?
