Not sure if this started happening before or after the patch but I only noticed it last night.

I was playing wake island and we had captured the north side. Someone on the china team tried to land a black hawk on the side of a hill for some stupid reason. Anyway, I had a couple of shots at the chopper with my G36C.

The chopper bloke tries to take off again, rolls the chopper and blows up. When he blew up, i got the 2 points for killing him, when obvisously he blew him self up and secondly, I lost points for team damage due to one of my team mates being near by.

This also happend to one of my mates who is a sniper and was trying to take out the pilot of a chopper. He got the kill points after an AT guy had two shots at the chopper.

Anyone else seen this?

I'm pretty sure it's always been that way. I think whoever gets in the last "kill" shot gets the credit, all others get assists.

yup, my thoughts exaclty, its all about the winning "shot" that gets the credit for the kill and anyone who takes off at least half health\damage gets an assist, and since you got the wining shot on the helicopter you got the kill and hence got the teamkill and as for the sniper buddy, although the AT guy did the hard part ur buddy got the kill because he had the last shot.

im pretty sure that if you shoot someone say as they drive away u shoot the vehicle then he runs into a wall and blows up, you get the kill. ive seen it before. correct me if im wrong.

nope, you're correct. last person to damage a vehicle gets the credit for killing it, no matter how it dies. Say someone puts a few missiles into a jet, setting it on fire, then I shoot it with my pistol once, i get the kill. Or I shoot said jet and it runs into the ground, I still get the kill.
