I vote by candidate, not by party, but my views are to the Right of the spectrum on most issues, not a fan of big government, high taxes, and amnesty, but I'm not a big fan of fundamentalism in the government either, if the Republicans dropped the fundie ticket, they'd get more votes IMO, the far right would still pick them over a democrat, and I wouldn't be put of by their irrational fear or homosexuals.

Since in the US the two parties are both considered on the same (right) wing here, and are so close together I'm neither a convinced democrat or republican. If you force me to choose, I'd say republican since McCain is the one I'd vote for this elections.

As to the OP: As I've said before, I'm only a Republican because I disagree with less on the Republican platform than I do with the Democrat platform.
