I am working on my moms car changing the Valve stem seals and everything to be going smooth.
I raised the piston on the left side of the 4cyl engine and changed the valve stem seal with no problem.
The one above that has a weird metal sleeve around the spring and I have no idea how to remove it.
So instead of just waiting for my neighbor to come over and help me I decided to move on to the next set.
I figured since the first piston was all the way up to the top the 3rd one would be also.
Maybe the screwdriver was still in the hole while I tested out the first one, I seemed to have forgot a key part of this incident..
As I remove the spring and then removed the stem seal I grab the valve stem and move it up and down
to make sure it would not fall into the motor... Well... it slipped out of my fucking fingers and fell down into the motor...TINK!
What's the worst thing that can happen while changing valve stem seals????? THIS IS THE WORST THING THAT CAN HAPPEN....
Now I have to tear everything down to the block to remove the head just to fish out this stupid valve and my mom has to work at 1:00am Monday morning... oops
