Like your sig, then.

I don't think they're that bad. They're easy to mod for oil cooling, and it's a kinda cool concept. If you have some plexi hard drives, PSUs and optical devices, it'd be cool.
The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP

Was thinking of going with water cooling and thought it looked cool different to the Antec 900 anyway

Fill up all holes
Get a barrel of clear, non-conductive oil
Mount hardware
Unplug fans
Fill up
Profit.

I hear those cases are bad for giving of static too.

Vegetable oil....

And I've heard that although this method is great for cooling, it sucks for maintainance

That's why you get transformer oil, that needs to be replaced every 20 years.

EDIT: This guy did it: http://www.sweclockers.com/album/?id=1486 He paid 1600SEK for tons of oil. 1600SEK = 160€ = 190USD

When I said maintainance, I meant the computer parts, not the oil

Don't it's fun for the first couple of months then you get sick of it pretty fast. always need to be cleaned because of dust/finger marks. and tbh like kyle said you'll be disappointed for buying it. I still have mine laying around but I bought an Antec 900 instead.

Hell I would even sell you my acrylic case with all the fans and fan controller for like $30 if you didn't like in the uk.

DangerDen do some really nice looking stuff .. but $200 for the case and another $240 for their own w/c = ~$450 which will be probably at least £350 ... also really limited stockists in the UK

The Watercooling kit and VGA Upgrade from Watercoolinguk for ~£85+delivery
Total of around £730 delivered, a nice system and watercooled ... thoughts?

Yes, as they're made of an insulator which in theory can build up a good few electrons. However, it's not that much in practice and if you're really worried you can (brief explanation inc) take a computer power cable, cut it off and connect the third, ground pin (at least in US house wiring), to your case and that should alleviate problems.

edit : have switched the E6550 for the E8200, nudging up the total by about £30 ... everything else = the same tho, atm anyway

The Antec Performance 1 series aren't really for watercooling unless it is an external kit. It can be done; I've had a few friends even do it themselves. However looking at that picture it seems that the Radiator is only 120mm? If so you *could* mount it quite easily if you find the right space!

I know someone who's buying the exact same kit and installing on his P182 today, so I'll find out what happens with installation.
Was thinking of mounting the rad on the back of the case? Feeding the tubing through the cut holes? Can I mount the rad on the back of the case?

Bottom picture looks ok ... I only need 1 DVD Drive and 1 Hard drive to be mounted so if I could do it inside then it'd be cool, as I plan on linking the CPU and GPU into the water system but still keeping air flow good through as many fans as will fit.
