One thing the hacker attacks did was prove that the stats system is a joke and worhtless.

Unfortunately we are only able to restore what was given to you. We do understand what has taken place here and we deeply apologize for the inconvenience but this is the best decision to protect the integrity of the game.

I'm just gonna staart over. Getting wiped has fired up my BF2 spirit again. Props gonna go to 2nd. Lieutenant, or something like that before EA dumps the servers.

The way these systems works is a little difficult to explain but it is much more demanding than restoring your mail system but not stating email restore is easy. All we are stating is what we have granted you is the best solution rather than having to revert 50k players of Battlefield 2 to March 22nd and then creating a 5k add.
I understand the position you are in but I personally am grateful and a lot of others feel the same way we were even able to create a script to reset the stats that players liked to see.

I see you said "decision" in your reply. indicating that it was decided not to put back badges and medals to people's accounts! As an IT professional myself I understand backups and restores. I know that I myself have restored E-mails that my users have deleted off the exchange server and even individual files that were on the file server that my users have deleted. I am sure that EA performs full and incremental backups of the account server daily if not more frequent. I know you say you can't go into someones account and add or subtract things. But this isn't the case as EA demonstrated by giving us 5k after the stats system was down for the month. All I am asking is that my account be properly fixed. I am sure I am not the only person that is trying to make the rank of general and needs my expert badges to accomplish this. Put yourself in the customer's position and ask yourself what would be acceptable to you.

This was the last answer i got from EA. Stats system is over for me. I just love the game.


PS:I had never cheat and I ve never been officially banned(PBB). It was the well known issue,about stats padding at 11/2007.

polux.......As I said I love the game.....

I like how they are giving people back arbitrary scores, and then say it's the best they can do, that they can't add more. But when the stats were down they were able to give anybody they wanted 2000 pts for the hell of it.
