I fucking hate the government and i ABSOLUTLY FUCKING HATE THE SCHOOLS!!!

SO im fucking hours away from getting a fucking job at Subway and i learn that im gunna need fucking working papers! IM FUCKING 16 i could fucking leave school any fucking second and theres nothing they can do about it!!!!!

SO fucking big-brother says i need to have some fucking working papers. Great. FUcking wonderful, another fucking thing to waste more fucking time before i can possibly get this job. All i wanna fucking do, is sit behind a fucking counter and make some fucking sandwhiches but noooooooo, i need a fucking permit from the fucking government saying that im fucking physically fit enough to fucking work!!!!!!!! PERSONAL CHOICE???? NOOOOOOOO!!!! EITHER FUCKING GET THE FUCKING PAPERS OR DONT FUCKING WORK!!! thats my fucking choice??

All in the name of preventing child labor?? WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH CHILD LABOR!!!!! HOW THE FUCK IS A CHILD SUPPOSED TO FUCKING MAKE ANY MONEY IF HE CANT EVEN GET A FUCKING JOB IF HE WANTS ONE!?!?!?!!?!?

No shit. I've worked since I was 15. All you have to do is get a little green or pink slip of paper signed off by your manager and bring it back. It's not that big of a deal.

If it wasn't for child labor laws you could have been working in a coal mine or farm since from 9 years old.

History, learn to appreciate it.

I'm confused????? Since when do you need to have "working papers" to work as a 16-year old? Is this a state or federal thing ... I didn't have to do this in Tennessee.

No, you would be making $0.50 cents an hour. There are labor laws for a reason - people were exploited like hell back in the day. You know, at one time labor unions were needed - now, I think some are a little too big for the workers' cause.

OH - I'm 27, and I had to have a workers permit for the first job I had - 1996. Maybe it's a new thing, but I think it's mandated by the school through education laws.

Ya I have never heard of that either. Prolly just a NY thing. Down here in FL you can start working at 14 with no permit.
