The Grand National is run at Aintree Race course (Liverpool) tomorrow afternoon, some say the greatest horse race in the whole world. I'm not a betting man, in my younger days this was the only day that I would venture into a bookies and place a bet.
I'm not sure how big this race is globally but I have listed the current runners (a few reserves are in that list who wont be running, a few starters are likely to be pulled from the race tomorrow morning as well)
I'm not sure of individual odds and I suppose I could of copy/pasted the list with odds from a better website but couldnt be arsed.
So going off names only, pick two horses that you think would win.
Obviously we cant do this for money but other than everyone who takes part giving "Karma to the winner" (if allowed by the powers that be) I cant think of any other prize to offer. If someone wishes to offer their idea's on prize giving and its allowed by the "Powers" please PM ME and I will edit this posted if feel your idea was worthy.
I have supplied a link below which will give you more information.
As mentioned I'm not a gambler, far from being an expert but I'm going to choose my two horses on the following principle. "Pick a horse with a color in its name - Thats what my Nan used to tell me". Well not, me but some Welsh woman is riding one tomorrow and thats what she was saying on the news last night so I thought "Ahh fuck it, I'll go with that".
Please keep this thread as clean as possible in terms of simplicity.
Just pick your two horses and if you feel the need, give your reasons why. I have gone first to show you how, pretty simple really.
This is what the poor bastards have to run around tomorrow:

I say poor as some of them don't make it all the way round in one piece and get shot where they fall. Don't worry kids, I'm talking about the Horses not the Jockeys.
