Its more of a saracastic bit to all those who think all troops do is murder civilians.
That's not what WE expect them to do...but it's what people are being TOLD elsewhere that they do.r'Eeee wrote:

But er yeah, that's some good work. But ....basically.
Not all Soldiers are War Criminals
Not all Muslims are terrorists
Quite simple, really.

I'm glad that we've demonstrated how great and humanitarian the Aamerican people can be.
Now let's wrap it the fuck up.
Now let's wrap it the fuck up.
What I am trying to say is, that we don't expect any of those soldiers to empty a whole round in the head of those kids. So, to be honest, I don't see this as a big deal.
I mean, if you see little kids, like your relatives or something, you don't go kicking them in the head, do you?

karma buttons are broke, lol.
Heartwarming. US soldiers have done that a lot in the 20th century. On the History Channel a WWII veteran mentioned that him and his platoon gave up their special little thanksgiving meals to give the food to the local people they liberated. This will create a generation of liberal people perhaps, who see all this stuff about suicide bombers blowing themselves up around a US soldier giving candy to little kids.
I'm glad their doing that, and not massacering a villiage, like in My Lie (spelling?) in 'Nam.

lol.

Most people will only ever seem to realise what they see on the news which 95% of the time is depressing bad news, they overlook the events like these that will happen on a daily basis.FallenMorgan wrote:

I look at those pictures and think of all those poor kids that will never get to know what bacon tastes like. The soldiers need to cook bacon in the open out on the streets, that will get the public to reject Islam in the favor of salty yummy goodness by the slice. mmmm, bacon.

"If it doesn't bleed it doesn't lead."
Most soldiers /= war criminals
most Muslims /= terrorists
no terrorists = no money or advertising for news stations = Fox without anything to report
I have a friend that did a tour in Iraq I and signed up again for Iraq II. Most of it was geared around the time he was offered plus his current tours counting towards a military retirement, but I can't fault him for wanting to take care of his family. He is not a war criminal. He doesn't make the rules or policy, he does what his what a soldier does, and that is what he is ordered to do; he does understand that he is not required to not follow orders that would violate military and other international policies. George hasn't extended that protection to the rank and file just yet. (Yes, that is sarcasm, for those with broken sarcasm detectors)
