WTF has it got do with your mum or boss how important stats are, stats aren't important. BUT, maybe, the people got reset dont want the few hundred hours they spent playing the game to be COMPLETELY for nothing. No stats aren't important, but for alot of people it's what keeps them playing the game, a few more hours for this or that, it's satisfying gettin' them and people don't want that to be a complete waste of time.
