Layney Staley was the lead singer of Alice in Chains. On April 20, 2002 he was found dead in his home at age 34. The police concluded he died on April 5 due to an overdose of speedball which is a mix of heroin and cocaine. Most of you probably don't like Alice in Chains or don't know who Layne Staley was. But for me AIC is the best band ever. We miss you Layne. I will give you tribute today listening to AIC's songs, specially from Dirt, like I do everyday.
I know damn well who he is.
Them Bones is one of my favorite songs, as is Man in the Box. R.I.P.

Kurt Cobain was the lead singer of Nirvana. On April 5, 1994 he was found dead in his home at age 27. The police concluded he died on April 5 due to a suspected suicide. I forgot that. Thx for the reminder. I love Nirvana, although I prefer AIC. RIP both of you guys. Don't do drugs wherever you are.BlackKoala wrote:

Meh Alice In Chains is an alright band.
The new lead singer is pretty damn good, really good actually, but it's just not Layne. God damn, I never saw Layne perform. Alice should continue on, but I agree with the people who say they should change thier name. It's not that big a deal, but since Layne came up with the name, they just should. He was too big a part of the band.
The guy was just an emotional wreck his whole life. R.I.P.
R.I.P. Kurt as well.
Those guys have to die, but nickelback rages on...life is not fair dammit.
